Congratulations to our #PureAirGiveAway Winner, Barrett from Texas!

Barrett shared with us the story of his premature daughter overcoming pneumonia and other respiratory conditions to be a healthy baby.

"My daughter was born 4 months premature and developed pneumonia just 3 days after being born. She was 1lb. 13oz and measured 13 1/2 inches long. She was immediately put on a ventilator for oxygen support and given numerous breathing treatments, as well as other medications to aid in the growth of her lungs every day she was in the hospital. After 4 surgeries and 6 months of recovery and growing, we were able to bring our beautiful baby girl home. We are slowly decreasing the amount of oxygen she requires to be a strong and healthy little girl. When babies are born premature, lung problems are generally a big issue for them to push through. They are so strong and resilient, you would be amazed at what proper ventilation and air purification can do for lungs that are almost transparently thin. Our little girl is now 26 1/2 inches long and 14lbs! She is the strongest person I know and I cherish every day I wake up to her beautiful smiling face."
