CEO
Warb leads the strategic direction, vision and culture for Alen.
Experience: Warb has held individual and management positions in engineering, marketing, sales and corporate strategy in Fortune 100 companies for more than 15 years. He chose to pursue his entrepreneurial passion and founded three profitable companies in the last 15 years. His commitments to building trust and producing high value with his customers and his teams are what differentiates him as an uncommon CEO. Warb has a Master’s degree in Mechanical Engineering from Purdue University and an MBA from the University of Michigan.
Outside Alen: Warb is passionate about building Christ-centered businesses and deep relationships. His hobbies include: travel, reading and personal fitness. He is married to Linda (also a CEO and business owner) and has two children, Kirsten and Austin.
VP of Product/Consumer Air Quality Advocate
Mark works daily to provide innovative products that solve problems related to poor indoor air quality.
Experience: Mark is known for utilizing consumer and market research to gain consensus for programs, structure and concepts in product development. He has 30 years of consumer insight, including developing and launching the "Housewares Best New Product of the Year" in 2005. Mark earned an MBA from University of Hartford and has held positions in marketing, sales, product management and product development. He is passionate about building products that provide solutions to consumers.
Outside Alen: Mark loves to cook and enjoys a good single malt. A self-proclaimed history buff, Mark enjoys visiting old places and spends a fair amount of his spare time helping entrepreneurs start and run new businesses. He is particularly proud of his association as a founding partner of The Colonial Radio Theatre on the Air, the nation's premiere audio drama production house.
VP of Strategic Alliances and Business Development
Wade directs Alen's marketplace development strategy and execution. He maintains the companies strategic concerns while developing new channels of revenue.
Experience: For more than two decades Wade has established strategic relationships with partnering companies and developed robust revenue generating opportunities for companies ranging from Fortune 100 global technology companies to startups. He has led very successful business development teams at Dun & Bradstreet, Dell and Sprint. Upon finishing at Sam Houston State University, he enlisted in the US Marine Corp and served as a Scout Sniper, where he was awarded the Bronze Star for Valor.
Outside Alen: Wade reached for the stars and married his beautiful wife, a former model, in 1999. Today they have a wonderful family that includes their two daughters and three dogs. He dedicates his time to supporting any and all interests that his girls pursue. He enjoys spending time and traveling with his wife, playing tennis, college football and watching the Olympics.
Chief Marketing Officer
Bill provides leadership in Marketing and Technology for Alen’s omnichannel strategy.
Experience: Wherever he goes, Bill is focused on the intersection of business strategy, marketing and technology, synthesizing technology and consumer trends. At Alen, Bill serves to build strategies. capabilities and a culture of collaboration that help Alen bring our brand to life and better connect with our customers. . Prior to Alen, Bill created and led all digital marketing capabilities for nFusion, a digital-centric integrated marketing agency, where he played a central role in taking nFusion from startup to #85 on the INC500 list of fastest growing private companies. He also led application architecture strategy and implementation at Garden.com and Cabellas.com.
Outside Alen: Bill is also the founder and principal of Chief Digital Advisors which serves in an advisory role to senior executives of companies large and small. Beyond of the MarTech world, Bill enjoys the great outdoors, ranging from hiking the deserts of California to stand-up paddling in the Pacific Ocean.
Director of Finance & Operations
Ryan leads the Finance, HR and Operations activities for Alen.
Experience: Ryan is a proud graduate of Texas A&M University. After attaining his Master's Degree in Accounting, Ryan began his professional career with KPMG, where he worked for almost ten years in the audit practice. His focus at KPMG was on the high-tech and manufacturing sectors, where his clients ranged in size from $5M to $5B+ in annual revenues. Prior to joining Alen, Ryan served as the Assistant Controller at ArthroCare, where he was responsible for SEC reporting and technical accounting. With a passion for business and people, Ryan is excited to be a part of a team thats motto is "Help People Live Better".
Outside Alen: Outside of Alen, Ryan lives a very active lifestyle. He's an accomplished tennis player and teaches several group fitness classes a week at an Austin area gym. Ryan has a black lab named Miranda with whom he loves to spoil, play fetch and take to dog parks. He's passionate about personal growth and has traveled the globe, including a 2 year stint living in New Zealand during his time with KPMG.
